Girls’ basketball is back in business. After a year absence the girls’ varsity basketball team is back. They have recently started conditioning for the upcoming season and are hoping to make a splash in the ILH. Kelsey Tanouye and Brittany Daniels are the only returning starters from the team two years ago and are trying to lead their team back to promise in a very tough ILH division. Ashley Abraham and Kara Singson are the other two returning players from the team. Leading this team is first year head coach Gary Tanouye. He has been a standing figure in basketball on the windward side for years. We can all hope for big things from this group of girls with him leading them. They open the season on December 15th against Iolani at 6:30pm. Come support our team and let’s make this Dawg Pound rumble!
