Finally it begins - the long road for the Boys Varsity Bulldogs starts on December 10-12 in the Pete Smith Tournament hosted by Kalaheo High School. The Bulldogs are set to play on Thursday 12/10, Friday12/11 and Saturday12/12.
In the week following Kalaheo’s Tournament, however, LJA will host the first ever Le Jardin Invitational Tournament! Reed Olaso, Athletic Director and Varsity Coach said, “I’m excited about our team this year and hosting what I hope will become an annual event.” The tournament consists of varsity teams from Island Pacific Academy, Maryknoll School, and a team from North Salem Oregon. The Bulldogs will face off against Island Pacific Academy at 5:00 pm on Thursday the 17th. The next two games in the tournament the Bulldogs play in will be against North Salem on Friday the 18th at 7:00 pm, and Maryknoll on Saturday the 19th at 1:30 pm for the conclusion of the tournament.
Throughout the tournament, plate lunches will be available for purchase from the Canine Café. Along with the food, a souvenir shirt is also available for purchase through the athletic department for those who would like to remember this momentous event.
