And The Votes Are In

Student elections passed by in a wave of inspirational speeches and hurried voting. The candidates were as follows: seniors John Michael Kimhan and Rachel Randall for President, fellow seniors Jessie Steiner and Chelsea Meerians for Vice President, sophomore Holly Fischer for Secretary, and sophomore Laurel Disera challenging senior Kara Singson for the spot of Treasurer.
But let’s not forget the class representatives!
The classes of 2010, 2012, and 2013 all had definite victories within their two candidates while the class of 2011 had a race of its own between three of its juniors for only two secure positions. These students were Tori Wilcox, Kelsey Tanouye, and Eric Kroll, all of whom had no previous experience with student government but were prospective contenders for the job that lays ahead. The other class representatives were all unopposed and consist of senior representatives being Ashley Abraham and Larisa Ing, sophomore representatives being Jamie Sutton and Lily Herrell, and Tori Natividad and Jacqueline Maero as freshmen representatives
It was a battle of leadership and dedication. The races that didn’t have a determined victory from the start were, indeed, well fought.
