If you are a junior or senior at Le Jardin Academy you probably know who Mrs. Roberts is. If not Mrs. Roberts is the new Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, and AP Physics teacher. She recently moved to Hawaii this past summer from North Carolina.
Her husband is in the military and they have lived many places; such as North Carolina and Connecticut. Mrs. Roberts attended NCSU, North Carolina State University, for college. While she lived in North Carolina she also taught at a high school where she taught Environmental Science, Biology 2, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. She worked as an environmental consultant in North Carolina, too.

The difference she said about her job here and in North Carolina is where she taught before was at a public school and now she is teaching at Le Jardin which is a private school. She also says that the class sizes are smaller here. She’s been a teacher for 5 years and has no children but does have a really big Great Dane, Callie. When asked about Hawaii she exclaimed “I love it. Hawaii has everything I have been looking for in a place to live.” She said she loves how she can drive down the road and see the beach right in front of her.
Dr. Privitera, who is the biology teacher at Le Jardin, thinks she is a great asset to the science department. Dr. Privitera says that Mrs. Roberts is “a very hardworking and organized person”.
Mr. Morrison whose room is next to Mrs. Roberts says, “She is a great roommate and has valuable experience.”
He also thinks that she is a terrific addition to the science department and has great world experience. Since Mrs. Roberts’s room is small and doesn’t have a lab station in it, Mr. Morrison says that she can use his room anytime she needs to.
Mrs. Roberts’s room is located on the upper level of the high school campus in room 407B.
